2011 Guy Family Reunion Letter
The reunion will be held this year at Whispering Woods Hotel and Conference Center in Olive Branch Ms. The accommodations will be at Fairfield Inn and Suites located in Olive Branch Ms.

The 2011 Guy Family Reunion will be the start of our next 100 years. In 2011 we will be able to trace our rich heritage back 201 years. In starting the beginning of this trek into our 300 years we have become a strong and mighty family. Many things have been accomplished since Millie Guy came into being in a world that was filled with slavery and bondage. As we begin this next generation, we now being many in number and much in strength through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, need to continue to bring advancement into our family. As the days come closer to our beautiful and joyous event, Darin and myself have decided to turn our gala into a four day affair. The dates of our reunion will be July 7, 2011 until July 10, 2011. An official letter will be mailed in the month of January giving the cost, the lodging accommodations, and the date of our first meeting which will be in April of 2010. Also during this meeting we will be discussing the costs of starting our family foundation. Darin and myself intend to have our foundation set up by the 2011 meeting. And we intend to have the Phoenix family cemetery up under this foundation by this time.
July 7, 2011 - Tour of Slave Haven, Civil Rights Museum, and an Antebellum House.
July 7, 2011 - Skate Night for the Kids & Meet and Greet for Adults that Thursday night.
July 8, 2011 - Picnic, Baseball game, The Show during the day
July 8, 2011 - Movie Night for the young and the young at heart.
July 9, 2011 - Business Breakfast
July 9, 2011 - Gala Event (our celebration of the start of our 3rd century of being the Guy’s)
July 10, 2011 - Church Service and farewell brunch. Brunch will be served after Church service.
July 7, 2011 - Skate Night for the Kids & Meet and Greet for Adults that Thursday night.
